Donation Policy & Disclosures

Donation Recipient & Flow

When you make a donation through Fandiem, your contribution is made to Our Change Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. Fandiem facilitates the donation process, but your donation is not made directly to the campaign charity you selected. After the campaign closes and the selected charity passes applicable eligibility, compliance, and vetting checks, Our Change Foundation grants equivalent funds to the selected charity.

If the selected charity does not pass eligibility, compliance, or vetting checks, Our Change Foundation may redirect the funds to a similar eligible charitable organization, as described below.

No Additional Fandiem Fees

Fandiem does not charge donors an additional fee to process donations. Payment processors, such as Stripe, may deduct standard processing charges, which are absorbed by Our Change Foundation unless otherwise disclosed.

Timing of Grant Distribution

Grants are typically distributed from Our Change Foundation to eligible selected charities within 60 to 90 days after the applicable campaign closes, subject to completion of eligibility, compliance, and vetting checks. Timing may vary based on administrative, compliance, banking, or charity-response requirements.

Variance Power; Reassignment of Donations

In rare cases, Our Change Foundation may reassign or redirect donated funds if the selected charity:

• loses or lacks IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status;

• fails to maintain required charitable registrations or other legal eligibility requirements;

• does not pass sanctions, compliance, fraud-prevention, or other vetting checks;

• cannot receive the grant; or

• is otherwise deemed ineligible.

If this occurs, the donation will be redirected to a similar eligible charitable organization where reasonably practicable. Fandiem or Our Change Foundation will notify donors by email where required or appropriate.

Vetting & Eligibility

Our Change Foundation verifies that recipient charities are recognized as 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations, meet applicable registration and eligibility requirements, and satisfy applicable compliance, sanctions, fraud-prevention, and internal review standards.

Donor Privacy & Contact Information

If a selected charity is deemed ineligible, your contact information will not be shared with that charity. Fandiem may share donor contact information with the selected charity only where permitted by applicable law, consistent with Fandiem’s Privacy Policy, and, where required, with your consent or direction.

Donor Rights & Requests

You may contact us to:

• request that your contact information be shared with the selected charity, where available and permitted;

• ask whether your donation was granted to your selected charity or redirected to an alternate eligible charity; or

• ask questions about the donation flow described in this policy.

To submit a donor request, email legal@fandiem.com with your name and the email address used for your donation. We will use reasonable efforts to respond within 15 business days. Privacy-related requests, including requests to access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain uses of personal information, should be submitted through the Privacy Requests link in the website footer or as described in our Privacy Policy.

State-Required Professional Fundraiser Disclosures

Fandiem operates as a professional fundraiser or commercial fundraiser where required and endeavors to comply with applicable charitable solicitation, professional fundraiser, sweepstakes, and related laws. Certain states require specific disclosures regarding charitable solicitations and professional fundraisers. Any state-specific disclosures provided on the applicable campaign page, Official Rules, donation page, or website footer are incorporated into this Donation Policy & Disclosures.

A donation is not required to enter or win any sweepstakes, and making a donation will not increase your chances of winning. Please review the applicable Official Rules for each campaign.
