I learned about what Ken Casey and Dropkick Murphy were doing to fight fascism maybe 6 months ago. When I heard they were coming to Cleveland, and there was going to be a rally with AFL-CIO, UAW, and other Union representatives my group Burning River Brigade immediately decided we would come take part. It was a thrill to meet someone like Ken Casey, and to take part in such an event! The fact that he had a charity was an instant win with me, I made the choice to donate without a second thought, without even delving much into where the money would go, as how can you not trust Ken Casey? To quote Grace, the Principal Rooney's assistant in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, "He's a righteous dude." It was never really about a guitar, that's just a perk!
