Twenty years later, in 2023, I finally did at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. Standing there, watching a band I had only heard through headphones on the other side of the world, was surreal, and the show more than lived up to it. So when I saw this prize, I couldn't not enter. Honestly, I would have donated to Children In Conflict anyway. The chance to actually meet them was just the part I didn't let myself believe in. That's why winning this opportunity is mind-blowing to me, and I'm truly thankful.
